Do you offer talks and demonstrations?Yes, this is something we love to do as it is possibly the best way to spread the word about British flowers – people remember childhood gardens filled with the perfume of roses and lilies of the valleys. I also work with Church groups that are looking to move to be an Eco Church, showing people how easy it is to use chicken wire instead of floral foam. I also give talks/demos to WIs, women's groups, gardening clubs and flower clubs too. All sessions are fun and informative please get in touch to discuss your needs.

Why do FAQs matter?FAQs are a great way to help site visitors find quick answers to common questions about your business and create a better navigation experience.
-
Do you use floral foam? No, this is something we will not use because it is made from synthetic, non-recyclable plastic that's not degradable. It contains lots of nasty ingredients which include carbon black, phenol; formaldehyde and tiny microplastics which get released into the watercourse and leach into the ground contaminating our marine life and food chains. In 2021 it was banned at all RHS shows.
-
Can you do natural funeral flowers?Yes - absolutely! This is our preferred way of working and there are so many options and styles available for natural funeral flowers using seasonal flowers and foliage. We use eco florist materials which are completely natural or can be recycled for bases, such as moss or willow.
-
Do you run workshops?Yes, we offer hands-on workshops all year round including hen parties and flower crowns. They are a great way of socialising with a group of friends or work colleagues. We can also arrange workshops for school/ church/charities/fundraisers in-house or at the venue of your choice

What experience do you have?I started helping my mother with her florist business so you could say it's in my blood. Helping out with weddings and events when she and her floristy friends needed an extra pair of hands, I found I enjoyed the creative side and moved to floristry from hotel, restaurant and sales management. I undertook a floristry course and then trained under my mother and took over the business after she passed. I have won twice won gold awards at Blenheim Flower Shower, People's Choice with Silver Gilt at BBC Gardener's World, and Silver at Malvern Show. I am also spearheading an eco floristy campaign and sustainable church movement.

Do you use plastic? We have cut our single-use plastic to the minimum by removing the use of ‘’poly’’ ribbon from our stock, and where we can find an alternative to using plastic items we do. With trays/pots made from bio-degradable/natural materials such as bamboo, wood, or glass, if we do use any single-use plastics, we are happy to take them back and recycle them to be used again
-
Do you do wedding flowers? We undertake a limited number of weddings a year, as we like to offer a personal service where every wedding is as individual as you are. We provide natural, cottage garden styles that emulate the British countryside with perfumes and British-grown seasonal flowers. With 20 years experience of in wedding floristry you are in safe hands. We take the time to listen to your ideas and translate them into creative workable designs, that use no floral foam and are environmentally friendly.
