Description - Learn the ancient craft of wet felting with tutor, Penny Dixon.
During this session you will learn how to handle unspun wool and identify a selection of different fibres. You will learn the process of laying the wool correctly so that it will interlock when wet.
Using soap and water you will learn a variety of techniques to agitate the fibres, enabling them to form a beautiful strong piece of of felted fabric which you will take home with you. You can create a lovely picture or go wild with an abstract piece!
Suitable for beginners or those who wish to revise techniques. Please bring a large towel to work on and a waterproof bag to take damp work home in.
