Description

Learn the ancient craft of wet felting with tutor, Penny Dixon.

During this session you will learn how to handle unspun wool and identify a selection of different fibres. You will learn the process of laying the wool correctly so that it will interlock when wet.

Using soap and water you will agitate the fibres, and with guidance, will find out the correct time to remove the resist and continue working your 3D bowl. Or you can mould into a pot shape to keep your plants cosy!

Suitable for beginners or those who wish to revise techniques. Please bring a large towel to work on and a waterproof bag to take damp work home in.
